What's happening with CCCS right now?
We currently consist of seven families that meet at a local church to homeschool our children classically. For the 2024-25 school year, there were 17 school-aged children, Kindergarten through Ninth Grade. For the 2025-26 year we’re at 23 students in Junior Kindergarten through Tenth Grade. We meet Mondays through Thursdays from 8:30 am until 3:30 pm.
We received 501(c)(3) non-profit status as Carmichael Classical Christian School in February of 2024.
Carmichael Classical Christian School became a member of The Classical Latin School Association (CLSA) in March of 2024. CLSA supplies the majority of our curriculum through Memoria Press and will function as our accrediting agency.
CCCS is also a member of The Association of Classical Christian Schools.
What's the goal for launching CCCS?
Our goal is to launch Carmichael Classical Christian School in Jamestown, ND, in the fall of 2026. We will begin formally functioning as a school for Kindergarten through 12th grade, with the goal of enrolling 80 students and employing 14 full-time staff in year one.
